| AC Gold Apprentice Reaches Scottish Finals
AC Gold's second Year Apprentice, Alan Eastwood (18) from Stirling, has demonstrated that he is one of the brightest stars in Scotland's electrical sector by reaching the final of Scotland's Apprentice of the Year.
The competition, which runs every year, aims to find Scotland's top apprentices with a series of practical and written test to assess the technical skills and knowledge and AC Gold has an enviable reputation for producing some of the country's finest apprentices year on year.
Alan has to sit his final trade test in the final round before finding out if he progresses to the national stages.
AC Gold's Managing Director, Alasdair Campbell, explained "The future of Scotland's construction industry relies on companies such as ours to maintain a strong and proactive apprenticeship scheme that enables our extensive skills and experience to be passed down to future generations."
AC Gold is one of the few electrical contractors in Scotland to only ever use inhouse staff to carry out its electrical contracting projects and in doing so has become recognised as being one of the most professional contractors in Scotland.
